Young singers from 20 to 35 years old have the opportunity to take part
As a result of the success of the FIRST INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION OF VOCALISTS “GOLDEN VOICE OF OPERA” (September 2022), we are ready and glad to announce a new project of the year 2023: “GOLDEN VOICE OF OPERA- VOCAL ACADEMY WEEK”.
Registration
Young singers from 20 to 35 years old have the opportunity to take part
Competition is one of the components of the festival- „Batumian Rhapsody”. Both, the competition and the festival were going to be held in 2020, but due to the global pandemic, it was postponed.
The registration deadline is up to September 1, 2023.
Registration requirements:
- Program (to be performed within the AcademyMasterclasses – 3 Arias);
- Video recording (1 opera aria);
- Copy of identity card or passport;
The singer selected by the mentor for week-term work may be required to provide additional information (CV, photo, contact details, etc.)
The participation fee for the masterclasses is 150 gel. This has to be paid on the basis of video recording of the participant,after admission to the masterclass.

The program to be presented within the framework of the Academy Week must meet the following requirements:
3 Arias, one of which must necessarily be an Italian aria, spread out in form (recitativo, stretta, or cavatina).

Auditions
- On-site registration in Batumi
- Informing about personal contact details such as phone number, e-mail, hotel or residential address, etc. to the competition organizing team.
- Distribution in the rehearsal rooms of the music school with pianist-concertmasters (work with a pianist if desired).
*The contestant keeps the right to replace the concertmaster offered to them by the festival organizing group due to incompatibility during the collaboration.

Important!
A 2-day large-scale hearing will be held by the leading managers of the world opera industry: opera agents, theater directors, and heads of opera schools.
Hearing and registration information will be published in addition.
The singer participating in the masterclass also has the opportunity to participate in the aforementioned hearing.How
The additional contribution fee for the hearing is 50 gel.
Participants are free to attend concerts, auditions, and masterclasses.
